The $XRP Ledger has surpassed 8 million wallet addresses, marking a new milestone for the network. The increase in wallet count has also changed the amount of $XRP needed to rank among the largest holders. According to the latest $XRP wallet distribution data, holding 2,151 $XRP is now enough to place a wallet in the top 10% of all $XRP holders.

$XRP Rich List: How Much $XRP Do You Need?

The updated $XRP rich list shows the approximate $XRP holdings required to reach different holder categories:

Holder Rank $XRP Required Top 10% 2,151 $XRP Top 5% ~7,500 $XRP Top 4% ~10,000 $XRP Top 3% ~14,000 $XRP Top 1% ~44,000 $XRP

The thresholds have declined over the past few years as the number of $XRP wallets has continued to grow. Previously, entering the top 10% required roughly 4,000 $XRP, while the top 1% reportedly required around 60,000 $XRP.

More Wallets, Lower Entry Threshold

Although the $XRP Ledger now has more than 8 million wallets, the amount of $XRP needed to rank among the top holders has fallen. This is because $XRP is spread across a larger number of wallet addresses over time, reducing the holdings required to enter higher percentile groups.

Current Value of the Top 10% Threshold

At an $XRP price of about $1.15, purchasing 2,151 $XRP would cost approximately $2,500. As per analyst Crypto AiMan, if $XRP’s market capitalisation were to match Bitcoin’s, $XRP could trade above $20 per token. At that valuation, 2,151 $XRP would be worth more than $50,000. However, this is a hypothetical scenario based on market capitalisation comparisons and not a price prediction.

$XRP Price Remains Below Previous Highs

$XRP is trading significantly below its previous peak of around $3.50, leaving the token down by roughly 65–70% from those highs.

According to analyst, long-term investors may see current prices as an accumulation opportunity, although future price performance remains uncertain.

The latest $XRP wallet data shows continued growth in network participation while lowering the $XRP balance needed to join the top tier of holders. As wallet numbers continue to increase, the $XRP rich list will likely continue to change over time.
