Heavy buying by large Dogecoin investors accelerated as the $DOGE price approached a critical resistance zone where high trading volume has been observed in the past.
Purchases by large investors in the Dogecoin market have reached remarkable levels. According to on-chain data shared by cryptocurrency analyst Ali Martinez, whales purchased more than 1.14 billion $DOGE in the last 96 hours. The total value of the tokens during this transaction period was estimated at approximately $112 million.
The accumulation by large investors coincided with the period when the $DOGE price approached the key region around $0.098. Historical data shows that approximately 28 billion $DOGE changed hands in this price range. Therefore, this region is being watched as a strong resistance area containing the cost levels of many investors.

Dogecoin-related spot investment products also recorded net inflows of $2.89 million in the same week, reaching their highest weekly level to date. The previous record was approximately $2.59 million, seen in January 2026.
Whale accumulation and fund inflows may indicate strengthening demand. However, this data does not necessarily mean that the price will definitively break through the resistance zone or that the uptrend will continue.
