Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced it will support the upgrade and hard fork on the Injective ($INJ) network. The exchange stated that it will manage the technical requirements for the upgrade process itself, in order to protect user experience.
According to Binance, deposit and withdrawal operations for tokens on the Injective network will be temporarily suspended on September 24, 2026, at approximately 5:00 PM. This suspension is to ensure the smooth completion of the network upgrade and hard fork process.
The upgrade and hard fork on the Injective network is scheduled to occur at block height 184,394,000. Binance stated that the process is expected to be completed around 18:00. However, the exact timing of the technical process on the network may vary depending on the block production rate.
The exchange noted that the network upgrade would not affect all $INJ token transactions. Accordingly, trading of tokens on the Injective network will continue on the Binance platform, and only deposit and withdrawal transactions will be temporarily suspended.
Binance also announced that it will handle all necessary technical operations on behalf of users as part of the upgrade. Users will not need to take any additional action to participate in the network upgrade.
Following the completion of the upgrade on the Injective network, Binance will assess that the network is operating stably and securely. Deposit and withdrawal operations will be reopened once the network is stabilized again.
Binance also stated that it will not issue a separate announcement regarding the resumption of transactions. Users will need to follow the exchange’s website to see if deposit and withdrawal transactions are reactivated.
