Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine (BMNR), a company that accumulates Ethereum, said he expects the cryptocurrency market to show a very strong outlook over the next 12 months. Lee stated that current market conditions are bullish.

Lee stated that a significant portion of the excessively leveraged positions previously formed in the crypto market were liquidated in October of last year. Arguing that the market has become healthier after the removal of these excessive leverage levels, Lee believes this could support price movements in the coming period.

The Bitmine executive also stated that the long-traded four-year cycle in the cryptocurrency market is expected to reach its bottom next month. According to Lee, the completion of this cyclical bottoming process could be a significant development for the market to enter a new bull phase.

The four-year cycle approach in cryptocurrency markets is evaluated, particularly through price movements linked to Bitcoin’s halving events. However, market participants also point out that the increasing influence of institutional investors, spot ETF products, and macroeconomic conditions in recent years could alter the structure of traditional cycles.

Lee’s assessment suggests that digital assets, particularly Bitcoin and Ethereum, could show strong performance again in the coming period. However, various factors such as liquidity conditions, interest rate policies, institutional capital flows, and investor sentiment are expected to influence the market’s direction.

In his latest statement, Tom Lee argued that the decrease in excessive leverage levels and the approaching potential bottom of the four-year cycle are creating favorable conditions for the cryptocurrency market.
