Robinhood said on Sept. 8 that it began routing a selection of football event contracts to OG.com, using Crypto.com’s U.S. derivatives exchange and clearinghouse. The agreement adds another execution venue to Robinhood’s prediction-markets business as the professional football season begins.

Under the partnership announcement, Robinhood Markets will also receive equity stakes in Crypto.com and OG.com after OG.com is spun off as an independent trading platform. Robinhood said the equity will be priced in line with Citadel Securities’ recent investment in Crypto.com Group at a $20 billion valuation.

Football contracts begin routing to OG.com

OG.com is the trader-focused brand connected to Crypto.com Derivatives North America, which Robinhood described as a Commodity Futures Trading Commission-regulated exchange and clearinghouse. Selected football contracts started routing there on Sept. 8.

The arrangement does not make OG.com Robinhood’s sole venue. Event contracts will continue to be routed to Kalshi, ForecastEx and Rothera. Robinhood said college and professional football contracts may go to OG.com, Kalshi or Rothera depending on factors including which contracts each exchange offers.

Equity stakes deepen the commercial tie

The planned equity positions make the deal broader than a routing connection. Robinhood did not disclose the size of either stake or the timing of OG.com’s separation. It also characterized the interests and their implied valuation as forward-looking, meaning the final structure may differ from current expectations.

Crypto.com founder and CEO Kris Marszalek called the agreement the start of a strategic partnership. He said OG.com plans to expand beyond prediction markets into futures and perpetuals, but the announcement did not provide a timetable for those products.

Robinhood adds another regulated venue

Robinhood said users have traded more than 45 billion event contracts since the company entered prediction markets roughly two years ago, including more than 30 billion through the end of August 2026. Those figures are company-reported volumes rather than an independent market-wide measure.

The multi-venue model extends the prediction-markets platform Robinhood introduced in 2025. Rothera, an exchange and clearinghouse independently managed through Robinhood’s joint venture with Susquehanna International Group, joined the routing mix in June. Adding OG.com gives Robinhood another regulated venue while creating direct financial exposure to two counterparties involved in executing the contracts.
