General Updates

Neo released Neo-CLI v3.10.1, a patch update that sets the Gorgon hard fork activation heights, targeting TestNet on approximately July 24 and MainNet on Aug. 1. The release also fixes an RPC wallet bug that was breaking ordinary transfers since v3.10.0 was deployed to MainNet on June 26.

BitGo integrated the Neo X network, making institutional-grade custody and wallet services available for the EVM-compatible sidechain. Neo Global Development announced the integration on July 7. Through the integration, institutional clients can now custody and manage Neo X assets using BitGo’s multi-signature wallet infrastructure. NGD stated the integration is aimed at making Neo X more accessible to institutions, exchanges, and service providers globally.

Neo Global Development closed the one-month registration window for users that still held unmigrated Neo Legacy $NEO and $GAS to submit their details and verify ownership. Verified holders will be guided through an off-chain conversion that reissues an equivalent amount of $NEO and $GAS on the Neo X chain.

NeoRedPill announced the first official NeoVision Community Challenge, offering US $50 in $GAS rewards to the top 10 community members on the NeoVision Discord leaderboard.

COZ CEO Tyler Adams participated in a NeoPod AMA, the third in the series. Adams discussed Neo’s need for a focused roadmap and market niche, called for budget delegation to address the founder dispute, and highlighted Neo N3’s stack depth as an underutilized competitive advantage. He also teased an upcoming major brand activation for COZ’s ITEM non-fungible item technology on Neo N3.

GameShame published a new Raijin Protocol devlog focused on gameplay polish and performance, including a refined UI, practice bots, a missile system, limited boost mechanic, smoother jet controls, improved aim accuracy, higher FPS optimizations, graphics settings, and a multiplayer marketplace in development.

nDapp released a weekly N3 $GAS check-in, noting that network users claimed approximately 59,170 $GAS over the past week and that on-chain activity burned about 316 $GAS.

Frank Coin hosted a trivia contest on Telegram, rewarding participants with 100 FRANK tokens for the top player and 40 FRANK tokens for ten players selected at random.

NNT hosted a GasBot Trivia round where participants competed for a pool of 4 $GAS rewards.

Developer Updates

Neo SPCC released NeoGo v0.121.0, which enables the Gorgon hard fork on public N3 and NeoFS networks, introduces metrics updates, and fixes a set of security vulnerabilities. Node operators are advised to upgrade before the Gorgon activation heights.

AxLabs released neow3j 3.24.2, bringing the Java SDK into alignment with Neo 3.10 by adding support for the new RPC methods introduced in Neo-CLI v3.10.0. The release covers message signing and verification, multi-party transaction signing workflows, and DeferredRelay plugin integration, all without breaking changes to existing code.

R3E Network shipped a batch of SDK and tooling updates across multiple languages:

  • NeoRust v2.1.0: a production-hardening update to the Rust SDK for Neo N3 and Neo X, focused on making failures explicit and recoverable with checked amount construction, provider-aware unified errors, and structured retry classification.
  • Neo N3 MCP Server v3.1.0: a major security overhaul for the Model Context Protocol server that allows AI agents to interact with the Neo N3 blockchain. State-changing operations are now disabled by default, private keys are handled server-side only, and all writes go through an intent and approval flow.
  • neo-swift-sdk v4.0.1: a rapid overhaul of the Swift SDK, renaming the project from NeoSwift, moving private key material to secure memory, adding per-instance address version support, and bringing Neo N3 v3.10.0 compatibility.
  • neo-devpack-solidity v0.30.3: the Solidity compiler for Neo N3 targeting NeoVM and emitting native .nef bytecode plus contract manifests, now with Neo N3 DevPack and interop mappings.

Separately, R3E Network founder Jimmy Liao shared a six-part thread outlining the architecture of Neo N4, an exploratory multi-L2 stack where NeoHub on L1 coordinates settlement, chain registration, shared bridging, and messaging, while each L2 keeps its own execution and state.
