The cryptocurrency market’s rapid rise in late August and subsequent stabilization at an elevated level led to much speculation about whether a new bull market has started, and Finbold’s predictive machine learning algorithms estimated that a clear answer, at least for Bitcoin ($BTC) price, will not emerge by September 30, 2026.
Specifically, after utilizing a series of technical analysis (TA) tools, including oscillators, the relative strength index (RSI), and moving averages (MA), the Finbold artificial intelligence (AI) agent determined that $BTC is likely to rise 1.37% to $79,674 by the end of the month.
Among the five AI models included in the predictive system, ChatGPT-5.6 Sol proved the most bullish, as it forecasted a 6.4% Bitcoin rally from $78,595 at press time to $83,650.
Google’s (NASDAQ: GOOGL) model, Gemini 3.5 Flash, took the opposite stance and estimated that a 9.05% crash to $71,500 is the more likely outcome for September trading.
Meanwhile, two other OpenAI model variants, Terra and Luna, proved moderately optimistic, having predicted 4.5% and 4.88% rallies, respectively.
Finally, China’s most recognizable AI, DeepSeek, estimated that Bitcoin’s price will remain flat and that it will only rise 0.01% to $78,623 by September 30, 2026.
Bitcoin price trajectory in September 2026
Notably, Finbold’s predictive algorithms provided the likely outcome for the month’s movements, but not the trajectory.
Bitcoin’s August performance reignited the debate about whether the world’s premier cryptocurrency found its cycle bottom and led multiple analysts – institutional and individual – to conclude $BTC might end 2026 at approximately 2026.
In this context, both the generally bullish AI price targets offered by Finbold AI and Gemini’s standout bearishness provide interesting insights into the state of digital assets in early September.
Indeed, the general outlook appears consistent with renewed Bitcoin strength – and even the Google model’s pessimism does not predict a correction to previous lows – while the lowest forecast could be in line with the temporary correction ahead of a decisive upsurge anticipated by the trading expert Ali Martinez on X late in August.
