Jito's latest product launch has put fresh attention on the $JTO token at a time when sentiment across the cryptocurrency market is improving.
The protocol has introduced JTX, a self-custodial trading platform built for Solana assets and tokenised real-world assets, adding a new business line beyond its well-known liquid staking and MEV infrastructure.
Following the JTX launch, the price of $JTO jumped 2.3% to trade at $0.6149 at the time of writing.
$JTO’s trading volume also rose to $31.73 million, with Jito protocol securing $7873.43 million in total value locked (TVL), highlighting the scale of activity within the Jito ecosystem.
JTX expands Jito beyond liquid staking
Jito has built its reputation as one of the leading infrastructure providers on the Solana blockchain, offering liquid staking services alongside validator and MEV technology.
The launch of JTX marks a significant expansion into on-chain trading.
The new platform allows users to trade Solana-based assets and tokenised real-world assets, including tokenised stocks and exchange-traded funds, while keeping full control of their assets through self-custody.
JTX also introduces trading tools that are commonly associated with centralised exchanges, including resting limit orders, conditional orders and automated execution.
Notably, the JTX platform is built on Jito's existing infrastructure, allowing it to leverage the validator network, block-building technology and MEV systems that already support a large share of activity on Solana.
JTX also introduces a new source of protocol revenue.
Under the platform's structure, 80% of protocol revenue is allocated to the Jito DAO, while the remaining 20% supports continued development of the platform.
That creates a direct connection between the platform's adoption and the broader Jito ecosystem.
The roadmap extends beyond spot trading, with Jito planning to introduce perpetual futures and prediction markets, broadening the platform's product offering as it seeks to attract more active traders.
$JTO price remains driven by broader market momentum
Despite the launch of JTX, $JTO's recent price movement has largely tracked the wider cryptocurrency market.
Bitcoin's advance helped lift risk appetite across digital assets, while continued inflows into US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds and growing optimism around cryptocurrency regulation supported the broader rally.
$JTO moved in line with that trend, gaining 2.3% over the past day.
The liquid staking sector also attracted renewed interest. Lido DAO's LDO token climbed more than 14%, reflecting increased demand for liquid staking projects.
As one of Solana's largest liquid staking protocols, Jito benefited from that sector rotation even though its own trading volume declined by 31.67%, suggesting the latest price increase was not accompanied by stronger participation from buyers.
That leaves the token's short-term direction closely tied to broader market conditions, particularly Bitcoin's ability to maintain its recent strength.
$JTO price prediction: Key levels to watch
From a technical perspective, traders are focusing on several important price levels.
The first major resistance sits at $0.6621. A daily close above that level would strengthen the current recovery and could open the way toward the next resistance at $0.6748.
On the downside, $0.5988 has emerged as the key support level. A break below that price would weaken the current structure and increase the risk of a move toward the recent monthly lows.
Momentum indicators present a mixed picture.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 47.29, placing the token in neutral territory without signalling either overbought or oversold conditions.
That suggests the next significant move is more likely to depend on changes in trading activity than on momentum alone.
The daily exponential moving averages also point to improving conditions.
$JTO has reclaimed the 10-day, 100-day and 200-day EMAs, while the 20-day and 50-day EMAs continue to act as overhead resistance.
Remaining above the long-term 200-day EMA keeps the broader recovery structure intact, although a move through the shorter-term averages would provide additional confirmation of strengthening momentum.
