Aventus, a blockchain infrastructure provider for enterprise applications, has launched a node sale for Aventus Cloud. The initiative allows individuals and organizations to operate network nodes using available computing resources.

Aventus Cloud is designed to provide decentralized computing for applications running on the Aventus network. Nodes can process and validate network activity, including oracle data, state summaries between chains and custom logic. Eligible operators can receive network rewards for contributing computing resources.

The company plans to make up to 40,000 node licences available, with more than 2 500 already active. The current Genesis Tranche is priced at $1,755 per licence. Aventus describes the purchase as a software licence rather than an investment, with buyers subject to KYC requirements.

Aventus operates as a nonprofit DAO governed by AVT token holders. The network runs on Substrate and is connected to Polkadot, while its infrastructure is designed to give new appchains access to decentralized computing without building their own operator network.
